Division of Agriculture Personnel Directory FAQ

Moved recently? Changed offices? Changed phone numbers? Need your record in the Personnel Directory updated?

If you are an Extension employee and have questions regarding the Personnel Directory, some of your questions may be answered here. If not, please send an email to webhelp@uaex.edu and we’ll be glad to research your question.


Q. I have changed positions, and I am now in a new county. What is the process to get my information changed in the Personnel Directory? I am still showing up in my old county even though I moved last week. What do I do?

A. The changes in the Personnel Directory occur automatically from within Banner. Those changes begin with your new hiring supervisor, who has the responsibility to initiate the changes for you by submitting the E-HIRE 100. Once that form is completed and submitted, it begins the process to officially move you over by changing your home ORGN. Sometimes it does take a few days for that paperwork to get processed. Once your paperwork has processed and Payroll converts you to the correct ORGN, then you will appear correctly within the Personnel Directory. Changes to Banner are not immediately reflected with the Personnel Directory, however. Those actual changes take place overnight as data is updated.

Q. My phone number has changed, but I’m still in the same office. How do I get it changed within the Personnel Directory?

A. Complete the form EHIRE -180 and forward it to your Banner Admin. Once the changes are made within Banner, it will appear correctly in the Personnel Directory. Changes to Banner are not immediately reflected with the Personnel Directory, however. Those actual changes take place overnight as data is updated.

Q. I submitted a request to my Banner Admin to add my fax number to my listing in the Personnel Directory. She said she added it this morning, but it still isn’t displayed. What should I do?

A. No worries! All changes to Banner are not immediately reflected with the Personnel Directory. Those actual changes take place overnight as data is updated. Check back in the Personnel Directory tomorrow morning and you should see your fax number on your listing. If not, please contact your Banner Admin and ask them to check it in Banner.
